I think this is pretty important, so listen up: I've recently created a brand-new phpbb2.0 message board. It's got lots of nifty features that proboards does not offer, not to mention no advertisements, but the big question comes down to wether or not you guys want the move. One of the biggest negatives I can see is that with the new boards, you will all have to start over with your post counts. I'm currently trying to find a way around this, possible giving you all some kind of symbol to show that you've been here a while. But I know a lot of you have worked hard to gain the post counts you have now, so I will leave it entirely up to you. Here is what the board will look like, basically: tomartstudios.com/forum/ |

I had another account on this board but I forgot what the account name was, anyways, I don't have many post counts now so it really wouldn't bother me if you switched to the new board. Of course, since I have 'just arrived' it'd probably be better if some of the older members voiced their opinions.

Also I'd like to say we are going to need more moderators. One more would be good, 2 would be better.

I like the idea .. but is there any way to transfer accounts???
Oh, and a different background / color theme would be fun. ;D

The forums wont allow me to join, it has errors when it tries to send me an e-mail.

I ain't voting "yes" or "no", since I really don't mind moving.
(Please notice that the poll says "WANT to move")
However, what I want to say is this.
I don't care about postcounts. I fully support Tom's decision, whichever it is.

Moving wouldn't be bad at all. It's your decision in the end, Tom, and I think that once tom art studios gets up and online that it might be a better idea to move so that you have a forum for the artwork there. Just kinda merge the boards or something. I don't really care about post count because it doesn't mean anything at all. We all know each other if we've been here a while and the way this forum tends to be post count doesn't mean much. At least that is how I feel about things.

I kinda like the Proboards style, (and I don't see anything wrong with what you have here), but if you wanna move I suppose you can.
I've never had a comic that was popular enough to maintain a forum, so I can't really offer much advice.

I, personally, am for it, but then again, I feel for the members who have been here for much longer, and have an earned post count. I have no problem staying or going... but I DO think there is a way to change post count, they did it on another forum I was at...

Well maybe the other one IS better...than again I like the look of this one. Its so different from ALL the other phpbb boards that look EXACTLY the same....
