I need to ask this 'cause I want to have it in my story over the story board (not well read it seems ^^). I dont know if so many exept Tom can answer the question, but if you got somethings back your brain knowing something I would like to know. I havent found anything, but are there religios beliefs in the story at all, some long dead hero or so? Myths, Legends, gods, anything?
I can imagin it kinda hard to have IN the comic, but besides the comic?
Just wanted to ask.

That is really confusing to read.  I haven't seen any indication of legends, other than the one hinted at about Trace. |

There probably are religious beliefs, but why put them in the comic when they have nothing to do with the comic? If they had to do with the story of one comic, then Tom might explain. But, for now, it's irrelevant.

Yeah i know, thats kinda why i asked, i still needed it for my story, so it aint irrelevant for me is it? Its better to try than to just ignore the possibility that Tom maybe had written or came up with some idea for religios beliefs. But well, ill do without, would be so much funnier if i actually took something that already existed, but well now that aint gonna happen.

Okay, here we go. This is a long story, which is why I didn't answer sooner, but I'll try to fast forward thru time as fast as I can. So.... in the beginning, the old gods created the universe. Even as they did, they began to die. As the last and most powerful one vanished, he created the three masks, to rule over one particularly lively planet. These masks were: Good, Evil, and Neutral. As the masks watched over the world, they soon became bored. So they each created a race to live on the world. Each race today disputes which mask created which, but this is their general beliefs: Keidran believe that they were created by good, while humans by evil, and basitins by neutral. Humans believe that they were created by good, while Keidran by evil, and basitins, of course, by neutral. Basitins, on the other hand, believe that both Humans and Keidran where created by evil, while they were created by neutral (as always) and good had enough sense to stay out of it. In any case, for many hundreds of years the races lived in peace. That is, until the day came when one of the masks noticed that it's race was mixing and breeding with those of the other (humans with Keidran) For some reason, this angered it, and he quickly made it so that no human could bear the child of a Keidran, and vise versa. The tension between the two races began to increase, and sensing this, the third mask took the third race (basitins) and moved them all on to large islands off the main lands (now the Basidian Isles). Eventually, the first Keidran/Human war began. Many where killed, and this ammused the two masks greatly. But eventually things began to settle down. Seeing that there was no benifit for either side to fight, they developed a peace treaty, and the Keidran Boundaries were formed. The humans had won the most land in the end, but Keidran thrived in the woods they had been driven into. As time went on, the masks fell into legend, and both humans and Keidran began to forget the treaty. after 600 years, the Templar were created, to "protect humanity". Almost the same time, the Keidran version of the Templar, "The BloodOrder," was also formed. Today, war begins to brew again. Although not officially in a war, it's on the edge of one, with Flora and Trace at the ends of the balance beam. Er... I kinda got away from gods for a while there and went into just history ;D sorry bout that. I guess that's all there is to know, though. Later, hundreds of years after Twokinds, Flora becomes a goddess to, ironically enough, humans. But that's another story.....  |

Aaaaaaaaaah nice ^^ Ill get that in my story... sooner or later (sooner if i know myself right, and if i aint lazy enough to slow down the writing. I shoot much up; i got a whole book i need to read untill the end of monday but i've done it before). I really like the idea of good/evil and neutral... and hehe the basitin. And then there was a major spoiler about Flora but it doesn't change the storyline so ^^ but its still great. And no problems about gods, i got the better, i got the background and reason for everything ^^ thx Tom. (And raven, i actually think Tom gets pretty many PMs already, i just left it here so that he wouldn't hasitate to answer and check if anyone else knew something.) |

hmm, ok maybe he dont, but well he got other stuff to do, probably much. And i still dont want to bother him to much, already send him some few PMs about my story (hmm otherwise i couldn't have gotten his allowance) And why do u hate the masks? Hate the gods ^^ they created the mask to do their tasks... god created everything hehe, blame them. (ok it might be a little wrong to always blame the highest in rank, it COULD be someone elses foult, but its the easiest way ) |

Yeah you culd blame the gods but, they are already dead. >.>
And the mask are the highest rank now and they are to blame, maybe not the mask of good but who knows.
They are the one's sousing the war and they are the reason the two kinds still hate each other.
As you probably read the two species where really close at first.
And 110 in a month is kinda mush.
I had 300 in a month one time don't ask how.

Well, u can blame dead people cant u? Doesn't humans do that pretty much all the time?
It was still the gods who created the masks who messed everything up, surly either they messed up with getting the masks the way they wanted, or they actually had some intention to make the masks that way.
I can reason that way with "God" to, he created us and he doesnt like what we're doing, pffff, 11 000 people will go to heaven and live in the new jerusalem -.- the ones that never comited a SINGLE sin... yeah there AINT ANY left, its a sin to think about lets say sex in any way, thinking wrong is a sin, just not your actions. Maybe there is some newbords or so that never comited sins, so i hope 11 000 mothers will be happy if we get abbaddon and his toment wicked grass/horse/lion/human/winged creatures upon us -.- and ofcause the four apocolyps, where "death" is yellow 0_o'
oo and read the revelation ^^

And you got a point there, but think about it who exactly created who?
Did god create us ore did we create him, that’s the real question.
In some way it could be true that god created us, but I doubt it.
Personally I think we created god, we created him by believing he exists.
Think about it before we started believing in him no one knew about him, he was born after some one convinced others to believe in him.
We created the gods didn’t create us.
At least that’s what I think.
