Well, you've already seen how quickly the kedirns addapted to a live within the forests, and I am quite sure that a good chunck of their instincts would have been passed down to any of their children, highbred or not. I'm not quite sure weather or not they give birth to litters or not, because if they do, there is quite a good chance that there would be a sufficent population. As for them being a fairly new strand, there is that possibility as well, and there are bound to be some sympathizers on each side that would take them somewhere else and watch over them.
It all boils down to age and numbers, but if the highbreds were able to mate with either or, something tells me that the war would have kept them quite to themselves because of it, second note, read toms blurb at the begining of this, the only seemingly active mask is nutrality, and good and evil were probably the ones that accidentally stumbled upon the interbreeding to begin with, where as that one would, theoretically, not given two shakes of his wings in thought about it.
But, in the long run... we still have to wait to see what this little banter between the mixed race goes.

Yeah ... but wolfie hass a point as well. They could have found some far away alcove from the world, were they were overlooked by the influences of the masks. Free from opression, living only to survive and try to be happy. Not altogether a bad existance for the outcasts. Well this implies that they can mate amongst eachother, which meant that there would be many different combinations possible .. differeing extents of human / Keidran / Basitan. Sounds cool.

Well I don't think basitin would attend in cross breading, because the are so modest they probably think that cross breading is a bad thing. But there could be a very small shans that they survived if they kept in hiding and didn’t show op. But that would also mean they wouldn’t appear in the comic, and besides if there where half breeds shouldn’t we at least heard something about them.

Accually, if you look at it, it would just be like the mixed breeding between african americans and their white masters during the pre-cival war era. They were never spoken of, or about, and pretty much ignored all together, as if they never existed in the first place. It would not at all suprise me if they had all been exiled from the time that they could make concious decisions, only to end up banning together and hiding from those that threw them out in the first place.

Don't think so, the first war started becas of the fact they culden't cross breed anymore. So there wuld be some news of one when seen, and this is realy difrent frome two mixed races of humans, this cross breads wuld probeply onley have a half covered body white fur and that kind of stuf.

If you have ever watched/played darkstalkers, there is a good chance that they may end up looking like felicia, but they would most diffeniently not want to be seen after the war began, because they would be a forcefull reminder of the two races forced difference would give them one good excuse to get out of the fray as soon as possiable. I would not want to be anywere near two waring races, even if I was half of each kinds blood.

I know darkstalkers at least a bit, I also think they wuld look somthing like that. But they wuld be even more hated becas of the half blood.

*points up to what he just said a breif moment ago* That would have given them more than enough incentive to be elsewhere and to completley avoid all of the other races, and the masks for that matter. I would not want to be near any of them if there was a hint of both of the races blood in me. It gives reason to them not being see, heard from, or anything along that line since their conception.

If you have not noticed, the people thought that the bastialns had gone extinct quite some time ago as well, but there are still a few here and there, ontop of that, they have their instincts to help them hunt, and the ones who look the most human/ most kediran would probably the ones that go out to hunt and gater, so it would easy to mistake them for just another human or kediran.

Well... look at that bar maid, the one friends with Steve and Traces old g/f. She has fur and keidran ears, and accually -is- a hybrid, but no one kills her. twokinds.keenspace.com/d/20031226.html Her name is Karan my bad -this is an edit- Now if there was uber hate on them, why would Karan still be alive. She is 1/8 Keidran. A hybrid and is living. I do belive that the hybrids might of been whiped out, but if she still is around there must be more. Cause I mean, she is really cute, one of my favs, i'd be her b/f x.x

Because she was cursed by Trace, and she can hide here keidrenes. And DesertWolf you got a point there, but that would only count if they would help each other and the one most human would probably just hide between the humans. and the other way around. The best place to hide is in the brightest light. But they wuld most likly be spoted there some time.

But you just helped to prove my point Raven, because they would still be quite allive, even if they were hiding with the race that they looked the most like, but for those that ended up in the inbetween, there would have probably been a self imposed exile. And yes, there is still a slight chance that they may be spotted, but if you had not noticed, people tend to brush them aside if they do not attract any attention to themselves, I'll use the bastilans as an example once more. They are almost never seen and have been almost completley ingored because of it.

Even if she was cursed on that point. She isn't shunned. Which means that if a half breed that looked like her, could easily co-exist in the towns. meanign they could get resources.

She probably isn't shunned because she is the sister of the girlfriend of Trace.(Grand Tamplar) And the besitin are rarely seen because they are on an island fare away of the others.
