Something tells me that Lardmaster has played a certain Post-Apocolyptic Role Playing Game. A cookie to the one who knows what I'm talking about.

Speaking of post apacolyptic, has anyone ever seen a post-apo anime?

Well, the End of Evangelion movie sorta touched on it. Akira was much more techno grunge. Well, actually, the whole Eva serious touched on it, but we got away rather well from that 2nd impact apocolypse.

Meh .. adult swim makes it hard to keep up with things in order ... and english dubs are never very good.

I will disagree with that. Sure, there are a lot of annoying voices in anime, but for every irritating one, there are two that uh, are not. Cowboy Bebop and Trigun are some good examples of that.

MAybe im jsut a book type person with a thing for pretty pictures. I get a lot more of my story from the text than from the dialog, no matter what language. That is why I prefer hearing it in Japanese. MY brain understands little enough of it to make it merely the sound of voice I associate with a character, and the text is who they are to me.

That's a good point. To each his own, I guess.
Actually, that is the most logical argument I've ever heard from anyone concerning why subbed is better than dubbed.
