I'm still waiting for Inuyasha to finish up so I can buy the Box Set. lol. That's gonna be a pretty penny. And while I have digital cable (as offered per Bright House Networks here in Tampa), I don't think I have channels that high. o.o For if they offered an Anime Channel....I would watch it....Oh yes...Yes I would....lol.

Yeesh. The Inu-Yasha boxed set'll cost you a friggin inheritence. It's like trying to buy all of the Dragonball Z/GT/whatever episodes. Only Inu-Yasha is much more entertaining.
And that anime channel? Yeah, that'd be cool... if my cable provider even cared about it. (And this is COMCAST for crying out loud. You know, the guys who just tried to buy DISNEY.)

I stopped buying anime...because my wallet was screaming at me. -.- On a side note, yes, the dubbed version of Love Hine scares me. I own the DVD set with both english and japanese. So I forced myself to watch the english version after the japanese version. I about shot myself. The voices...LMAO. They really have a way of making guys sound dorky with english voices...granted he was supposed to a dork...but he's also the main character. BAH. And Kitsune...LMAO. I'm a texan y'all! Whew..ok, 'nough of that.

How about those translations though? I mean they changed the dio. so Naru didnt talk about her breast size in the first episode -- and throughout the series they did that... ITS LOVE HINA! -_- that made me angry... at least they kept the original dio for the sub....

That always happens though. Well not always, just a good deal of the time. I just really couldn't stand the english voices. Well most of them.

I actualy didn't mind love hina like that, but the manga is a lot better than the show.
Who knows of some Manga's that are better than the show, just wonderin share opinions.
My pick is Samurai Deeper Kyo. Sc4ry!

.Hack//Legend of the Twilight manga is a lot better than the show...Chobits manga is better than the show...Psychic Academy manga is better than the show... most mangas are better than the actual shows -- except FLCL -- the anime OVA was way better than the manga ^_^

Right now, my favorite probably is Cowboy Bebop. It had interesting, well developed characters, a good story, and an excellent ending. Chobits was good for the same reason.
My next favorites are probably FLCL and Hellsing, but their endings seemed a bit anti-climactic compaired to earlier eppisodes. (FLCL 5 and Hellsing 6 were the best, by far.)
I'm watching Naruto right now, and it's quite good, but it's dragging on a bit too much to be considered one of the greats. (To me, at least.) There's a good bit too much recapping going on every eppisode. I swear, by the time I've seen the series once, I'll have seen it four times.

Yeah - Naruto has to do that ^_^ Like most animes the budget is low and to have an episode be mostly fighting they dont have the resources to keep up the animation and keep it smooth- there only choice is to either break it up with new flashbacks or lots of diologue -- or with recaps and such -- hehe they do all of em - but atleast they keep them togeather so you can skip most of the time ^_^
