Well as I said before the PSP is only going to better because it has the new games coming out on it. and plenty of fun RPG's and barley any real remakes, Im not going to dis mario and all the other nintendo games out there because I like them all, like I said before in this thread. But see I'm sayin now a true gamer doesnt look at the games or the system, its realy the people makeing the games so realy thats who is going to decide which system is better.

I wasn't basing everything on price, just stating it's a huge deciding factor for alot of people. As for game selection, it's only in the beginning that DS will have remakes. It's just so they have a starting line up to select so they have more time to develop better games.
But yes, I do agree the quality of the gameplay is going to affect a huge part of the outcome of these two systems. I won't lean to any side for that though, because I've seen some crappy games come out on every side lol.

But of course the prices for the gameboyDS and the PsP are all speculated. I suspect the PsP is not going to cost 300 dollars upon release. If they did.. well, then they're morons. I'd be the Nokia cellphone/gameboy all over again. But we can't really base things on price until it actually comes out. The price is officially set at $350. Sony announced it at the Tokyo Game Show. Shortly after the news was made, stock in Nintendo shot up.

Are you sure about that? Do you have any offical links or videos? From what I've heard, the price has still yet to be announced. According to Chris Kohler of GameSpot: "With the targeted launch window of the PSP in Japan fast approaching, Sony is expected to reveal pricing and launch-date information in the near future." This was written after the Tokyo Game Show. You can find that and other information about the psp here: www.gamespot.com/news/2004/10/04/news_6109524.html

Well, I'm pretty sure. I've talked about it with friends, and that's what they got. On web searches it's popped up under a lot of site descriptions. (Yahoo! digs so deep for some descriptions like the one I saw that shows some of the content, that it's still almost near impossible to catch on the actual site! ) On further searching, though, I did see some pricing under $300 (although I saw more over than not), but it's still over $200 which is still idiotic. The PSP'll be a disaster, just watch. I also like what I read from here. ;D I think it's hillarious: news.spong.com/detail/news.asp?prid=7759

If I had to get either of them, I'd probably go for the DS. Just seems like I'd like it more than the PSP. Not sure why though.. maybe because of the two screens and the lower price tag.

Only around $100?! That magazine is putting out a bunch of lies! I've read on many different websites (a lot of them were very reliable sources), and they put the price tag well over the $200 mark.
