Humans are animals just we dont like to admit it. We try to repress our baser insticts treating them as an enemy to be overcome not something to be embraced. Keidran which are more willing to follow their inner feelings and instincts are seen as animals by Humans because of it.
This is something I've noticed for the past two years or so. Humans really dont like to be reminded of how animalistic a species we are. (more on this later)

Jeez, as if the shifty tavern "owner" doesn't send up enough red flags, he's gotta bring in a suspicious looking drink. That's violating, like, the villans rule #1: Never act suspicious, otherwise people will notice and become suspicious of you!
I wonder where the other two parties are?
Anyway, a very good comic as usual.

We are only just animals.
As humans, if you beleve in evolution, we acended from apes and their primal instincts are still with us, the drive to eat, stay alive, and pass on our genes to a newer generation.
Our only problem is that we won't truly accept what we are, this leads us to making objects, art, music, weapons, and technology, to help us prove to ourselves that we are better than the 'animals'.
...sorry but oddly in Chem we had almost the same disscussion, I don't remember how it came up though...
