What do you guys think of the new group names? So far your all Slaves! yay! Except for StickGuyRob, who's still the Court Jester. So ya better post a lot! Just trying to give some insentive. ;D

Ooh! I got a ratingish thing! I wonder if you could make groups we could join that give us different names or symbols in certain areas. Like the people who have joined early like us so far can become elder keidran (moderators) later or something! ;D

You know, that's not a bad idea. Okay, the first person to reach the highest posting rank in the forums can become a moderator if he or she wants to. I need to be sure that person will spend time on the forums, and this seems like the best way to do it. And I'll try to make an easy way to distinguish the original members of the forums so you guys can boss around the new people.

I know a way to distinguish us-let us post in a special password protected forum-then after a moderator is made, give us all a special nifty new name(Like stickguyrob's). You can just give it to the people who have posted in that forum, since you gave them the password.
Or you could check the date registered.
But I like my idea better!

Well Gobleteer.... Your idea is interesting but it's a little messy. It would take a while when new members start joining because then they have to get the password and that is just to hard. So, Tom's idea will work better but feel free to make a new one.

Tom is good about watching for spam and will not count it in the total posts. I hope he does at least. Knowing everything he has done so far, he probably will delete unneeded spam.

Hi I'm a noooooob. And since this is my first post...I guess I'm a slave! Go me.  If he's looking for a mod, it should just be relatively easy to see who hangs out here alot and doesn't spam everything to high heavens.  All ya gotta do is reeead them. I guess it depends on how busy the forum gets. |
