It really doesnt matter what it is that you do as long as it communicates how you feel.
Your jsut used to something different. Heck, we all probably are.
If a Basitan (or any other sentient, for that matter) tried to show affection youd probably have no idea wtf was going on unless someone explained it, ja know. Even then, it would probably never communicate for you the same message as waht you are used tom unless you lived with it for many years.
To that extent I say

Accually, that wasn't all that suprising... or at least not to a furry such as myself o.O;; Nuzzling tends to convey deep emotions where as just kissing can be either labled as loving, or as the act of wanting something... or that's how it turns out where I wander around.

I more about how different it was for Trace, becuse she must have had a ruff toung and it made it seem like they kissed for a long about of time so they must have added atleast alittle toung.....
Maybe I'm just thinking about this too much...wait! I must be some kind of sick freak to be thinking about something like this!!
