Has anyone seen or seen or heard anything about this movie yet? I've watched the previews and it seems like a pretty good action movie, but there has been some contravercy over how faithful it is to the original books by Isaac Asimov. You can find more about the movie at www.irobotmovie.com/ |

I wanna see it really bad, I like all the movies with Will Smith in it and the graphics look awesome ;D , besides that no, i havent heard of anything.

I've read a lot of Asimov's books, and it doesn't seem to really follow the novel. But, 'cause I kinda like Will Smith, I'm gonna see it.

If you get a chance to watch the making of it, watch it. lol. One it's pretty interesting how they went about doing it. Or maybe I just find it interesting cause that's sort of related to the field I'm going into...and 2. It's funny. lol. More so how they got the robots to walk the same, where they got the reference, etc etc. I dunno..hehe.  |

I'm going out to see it tonight ((Friday, July 16)) so ill tell ya all what I think, every ones opinion is different though  Edit: it was awesome! will smith is the best part for it ^^ but it dhowed him in only boxers for a lil bit >< |

I, Robot is seriously the best movie I've seen this year. It's got action, story, and comedy. I love the robots too. ;D

Look up "The Making of: I, Robot". You get to see what the actors had to do. Let's just say "Robot Training School" lol. On a side note, a heck of a lot of that movie was just Actors and a green screen. You'd be really surprised how much was all CG.  |

I know they do almost anything with cg now.
Did you watch Matrix Revolutions?
The big fight for Zion is almost completley done with cg.

Yeah, but the commentary on I, Robot suggested there's more CG than Live Action background.
