I still havent seen the animated one done in 1988.  All of them are based off of the Manga by Masamune Shirow. Or Shirow Masamune depending on how you want to say his name. |

Dang it!! All they say for a North American Theatrical release is summer 2004.
Hey, summer is a long time. Late June? July? August? Early fall!
This thing could be big, but Japanese companies don't know how to permote movies in North America for some reason.
(Bandai sucks at making movie trailers.)

I saw the original Appleseed release, but holy damn what an upgrade. That is awesome cell shading. I mean I've seen cell-shading done on 3D models to make them look animated, but this is really done well. At least from the trailers. Great stuff. Must...watch....RAR.
