The Passion of the Christ. Anyone seen it yet? -This movie has caused a half dozen people I know who arnt very religious to go out and read the Bible. -Penny Arcade referrd to the movie as 'The Jesus Chainsaw Masacre.' Someone other than Id had to stir up some controversy arround here for once.

In my second to class, English class, today we were talking about irony in movies so I called on for my ever knowible knowage, and said "its ironic that the movie Passion of the Christ could easly be downloaded" and yet agian we got into a extremly long, we were still talking after the bell rang...to leave for home, about the effects of relion on our lives, religous zellots are not fun to hang around with...
anyway, I guess I do sturr contvericy

Wow.
I'm sticking off THIS topic for certain reasons...
I believe something about religion, but I'd rather not share because I don't want to say that all others are wrong... Cause no one really knows. We all have different opinions and views, but if I posted mine here... I would get quite a few nasty e-mails...
Religion is a very serious topic. I mean people fight to the DEATH for their religion or belief... So I'm sticking out of this one.

Mabey I'll restate the topic here.
Has anyone seen the movie "The Passion of the Christ"? or are going to see it?

For your efforts in restating the topic, you shall recieve a legitimate answer. Or something like that.
No, I am not going to see the movie. From what everyone has said, they reccomend that you not go see it if you have a weak stomach. Plus, I know what the message of the movie is (I've already read the book.)

I have seen the movie, and I must say, it's the only movie that's ever left me too stunned to do anything, including drawing. It's one of those movies you just sit the rest of the car ride home in silence. I must say, I'm not as religious a person as I would like, but I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. It's an experience you wont forget.
But of course, I also agree with the saying: "The movie was good, but the book was better."

I cried almost the entire movie. (I'm also a Christian. Not that should have made a difference, that movie is powerful.) It's one of the best movies I have seen in a long time.
