I hated Fable. It was supposed to be non-linear but I have never played a game that was more linear than Fable. Regardless of the path you take you always end up on the same final quest. I accidentally beat the game and it only took me eight hours. I hope they make a better one soon.

I got the game with the X-box crystal bundle today. I'm liking it.

SOme of you know Ive had the game sience it came out, and I looooove it! GET IT NOW! The AI is awesome, the best Ive seen..although the graphics could do just a tad work, its kind of pixely for the characters and trees and such. But besides that It's the fourth best game ive ever played (lunar:silver star story being the first, FF7 second, Disgea the third, and Fable the fourth)

The key to Fable is side-questing. Go out of your way to find rare items and that sort of thing.

Ive heard from like 5-6 guys it only takes about 10 hours to beat n get everything done. That's a wee bit short for my gaming investment, ja know.

I'd say either rent it or borrow it from someone because there are less than 30 quest, the game is insanely short, the "side-quests" don't really bring in much money, and the AI isn't good, it sucks. The enemy either runs up and attacks you while blocking every attack you make or it stands from a distance and fires arrows at you. I never died once.
Also, the last boss is a pussy. I killed him in less than five minutes with a weak weapon.
Most of the things they said were going to be in it and all of the screenshots they showed from the game was all removed.

I can beat Jack in 1:25 mabey 1:30 with most of my characters. lol
The key is having Physical Shield, and Beserker.
Having your stats maxed out doesn't hurt either.

I beat Jack in 1:45 with an unaugmented Ebony Longbow and Multiarrow.

The problem was my weapons weren't even obsidian. The enemies were so weak I didn't even bother getting anything stronger.
