This is a cross cannon story, the idea is that Templar and Order both control portions of the world and while their systems of rule are similar, they'd rather have the other be gone. (Think Red China and Communist Russia)
Keidran Kaetif Basitian all fall into the same catagory as far as humans are concerned for story's sake.
This story takes place in a timeline where Trace has since recovered his memories and powers, with someone to fight for, bringing out his full power.
However Trace has also regained some of his sick humor and ruthlessness. But he feels his ordeal has given him a new perspective on things.
His no longer has an indifference towards slavery or genocide. But he also feels that peace between humanity and it's creations is futile.
Trace was also amused at it, Neutrality had wanted to use Flora to bring about an impossible balance. Now here he was, about to create a ying to a yang, to see if his plans could work on a small scale before moving onto the full project.
But if he made a mistake, every Keidran within the city walls would die, including his Flora. Not acceptable. He couldn't allow for an unknown margin of error. True, he had used a similar spell to move himself into power. But on this level, he needed information, information the Templar archives could not give him. But he knew where he could get it.
"Flora!" The Grand Templar called loadly though he realized with ears like her's, it wasn't really nessisary. Not yet, but if this ultimately worked . . .
"T-Trace?" The Keidran only a couple weeks away from her twelve birthday but to humans eyes a mature woman (if one discarded the fact she was half tiger) answered. She knew this was her Trace, not the one she was told slaughtered her original family. But whenever he was not talking to her, or she was not talking to him, he was like he was in his own world. And Flora was surprised by how it didn't scared her, but worried her, for his sake.
"Flora . . . . I think it's about time we took a scenic trip."
"Welcome to Theropos, the haven of Kaetif." The brown wolf kaetif to the tigress and the humaniod white tiger. "We hope you enjoy yourselves here."
"Oh we will." The white tiger nodded. "We will." Indeed, the blue eyes already seeing the magical threads making up the curse around and in the town. The white tiger was pleased, he'd rather not have to talk to the mage, 'Issac' directly, he doubted he could come up with a proper cover story, and he doubted the fox would see the reality of his plan.
