The general idea for this story came about sometime after an "interactive" story (sort of like an RP, but all in one topic & all events flowed as one story) had ended on some other boards I was at. All the characters that I'm using from that story are all ones that I made.
The general concept behind that story was taking all of us involved in the story, and placing ourselves in a strange reality to fight against numerous badies. Some things that some of the badies did damaged the space/time continuum, thus creating rips in time & space which acted as gateways to other realities.
At one point in the story, my character (aka me) had supposedly destroyed a Mecha version of himself while just nearly getting killed himself. Somewhere between the end of that story and this story I'm doing here, Mecha has been rebuilt and stronger than ever. He's determined to have MarioRPG and his friends suffer by any means he sees fit.
Although the Prolouge and Chapter 1 take place in a reality simply known as "Game World," the rest of the story will take place in a reality that is very slightly different than the one set up in the Twokinds comics (so I have more room to play with
).
Brief Character Descriptions:
MarioRPG (me)- Average high schooler who got sucked into an alternate reality and given some interesting powers. Over time has gotten stronger and gained new abilities n' such, but always runs into evil that happens to be stronger.
Evil MarioRPG- Although no longer 'evil,' he has the same background as his mirror reality counterpart, except for the fact that in addition to gaining powers, he gained darkness. Has always been one step behind his counterpart as far as gaining powers n' such. Looks to MarioRPG as the twin brother he never had.
Mecha- Mecha version of MarioRPG, which means he's much stronger. Despite his superiority, Mecha has always been defeated by MarioRPG, mainly because of help from his friends. Will stop at nothing to take down MarioRPG.
Jayson- One of MarioRPG's best friends from his home town & high school. He has some pretty powerful abilities of his own, as well as healing magic. He also has a nack for pimpin' out any vehicle he's givin.
Domino- New to the group, and also an unknown. She doesn't think that any of what she's experiencing in this new reality she go sucked into is real. She thinks that after tripping on something while running down some stairs to a subway she hit her head on the ground and is in a coma. She has a hard time believing that she just "happened" to fall through a rip in space/time as she tripped. Has unique abilities in the element of fire.
