Okay. I feel like I might be one of the few people that know that the past 4 or 5 comics have been a part of Chapter Six, which Tom dubbed as "finale." The reason I feel this way is because there has been no chapter title page like he usually does, just a little ambiguous text box saying "Chapter Six Finale part one" at the top of one of the comics from a few weeks back.
Anyhoo, on to my point. If this is the end of TwoKinds, I can't help but feel a sense of rush. Either Tom is getting sick of the story, or maybe he has to go somewhere where updating and maintaining a webcomic, let alone a website, will be difficult.
I love this story, and although I'm not a great writer nor am I very good at english class, I know that perhaps the most vital piece of a story would be the ending. If the ending is done wrong, the whole thing falls to pieces at the wrong time, but if done right, people cling to the story to the point where they reread it over and over.
Does anybody feel that this is being rushed? Maybe it's just me, or the fact that a lot of the characters that were introduced earlier (Rain, Euchre, that winged goddess thing that used to have a mask, the random store owner that always appears, Trace's girlfriend) need a lot of explaining. For example, today's TwoKinds introduced Trace's wife. But he has a girlfriend as well? Who is Ephemural??
These unanswered questions have left a lot of plotholes which I emailed Tom about, and he assured me that the holes would be fixed to create an ending that people would be anxious about. Hope things turn out that way.

On-topic: Now that you mention it I just realised that the chapter is called finale ^^; I wonder how many parts of it there will really be. Maybe theres gonna be a finale part 100. Who knows....
Off-Topic: So you emailed Tom? Which address did you use? twokinds@gmail.com? I sent him a fanart about a week ago. (was it?) but he hasnt answered yet. It might be that he doesnt answer fanart emails or that he is too busy with the server prob. But its also possible I just picked the wrong email address.....

Actually Tom doesn't seem to reply to his emails very often. When he does he treats you like a person not some crazed fan (even though you can sometimes make yourself out to look like one at times..>.<)
But yeah, it isn't very obvious that we're now reading into Chapter Six: FINALE.
Suppose Tom doesn't want angry fans screaming at his doorstep for him to continue the story online huh.

Maybe it's just an end to the current story. There can be new sagas or whatever.

Well apparantly this comic is just an adaptation of Book 2. Don't know where I heard that from. But the idea that this is just the end of a saga is clearer to me now that I've read Tom's post on the third book of TwoKinds. The only thing is...where is book 1?

It would be so depressing for it to end so soon. I have seen many a great comic come and go, and this one still has so much potential in it. Of course I could just be a bit sentimantal n all, not wanting to see such a great world be extinguished before me. Truely this could just be the end of the beginning of a much greater tale, and for this I can only pray. Oh, and of course, somebody think of the the kittens. ;3

My sentiments exactly. Though, at the moment, I'm torn between being depressed about the fact that TwoKinds even exists and the idea that it might be extinguished so soon...because I'll be damned if anything I could ever think of could stand up to this.

Actually the comic is from Book 3... i think... dont quote me on it. and anyway the Finale part could just mean the same as a Season Fanale. it will end for a week or 2 then come back in a new season with new plots and everything..... yea this coming from a dude who got 4hours of sleep lastnight and its now 2am............ BTW great comic tom

You're right this is book 2 then he is going to do book 3 and then 1. ore maybe first 4 but it's more likely he does 1 first because 4 is sort of a whole different story. And MW-SoulAssassin This comic is the second book.

Okay okay...so the story will run for some time longer at least....But here's my question. How the hell do you know all this? Who tipped anybody off that this is book 2?
I also think, though, that it will go Book 3 then Book 1. Sort of a sequel then a prequel thing. Those things can be cool.

The comic is not ending. This isn't the last chapter, and that's all I'm going to say. This topic will be locked in 24 hours.
