Raven: You make very little sense. Type slower. Spellcheck is your friend. Modify is also your friend.
I dont think that the old GT was ever genocidal, I think that practice started with Trace. The old lady looked nice.

But if that is true... then why would the gaurds come at the mention of a keidran... if the old GT wasn't genocidal towards the keidran, why would they hate them at that point...?

They may have been at war, but not genocidal.

-a bit off topic- midn if I add you to aim seig >^^<?? hehe your fun to talk with! And you got a bit of a point -tries to at least not create spam and stay ontopic- but still, even if he was the start of the genocide, it would explain why he thought that turnign her into a keidran woudl be much worse than death.

My theory goes thus:
Trace was some how deeply scarred by a keidran in his past. He joins the templars and eventually becomes head templar by transforming the old lady. Since Keidran are already second class citizens, it's easy for trace to manipulate all the humans into hating them and driving them into slavery.
PS - feel free to IM me, thats what it's there for. ;D

Well, if not extermination than what was the perpose of this war. WAs it not an ongoing war? Wouldnt the origional goal or quarrel be swalowed by the hatred of the people, the true cause lost generations ago but the fighting continues thruough ingrained spite? I would conjecture that by this point that is all there is to it. Maybe things had calmed down to some sort of uneasy peace; no major conflicts just small raids and retalliations. So maybe the old GT was looking out for the Keidran, in the only way she could without seeming mad to the rest of humanity.

Wars are funny things, sometimes they happen for no reason at all. (I hope someone catched the insinuation there).
It looks as if there's just an easy truce, like lardmaster said.
Perhaps Trace was gonna try to start it up again?

They did say way backwhen that even though he had uber cool power, that he couldn't reach his maximum potential without caring for something, that he had no feelings or something like that. If they wanted him to exterminate the Keidran, why didn't they do something to max out his potential? He couldn't of killed the orginal GT out of want for power, he was like a robot at the time?

They? The templar? Thats interesting. I don't really think you can just "give" someone something to care for.... And were they really after "exterminators"? The templar seem very much like a civil service organization : they guard the borders, settle disputes, and care for the sick and or injured. This seemed to be their primary goal. From what scattered history we have it is as if it was Trace's command which turned them to a war oriented organization. So if it was indeed Trace that initiated this phase, then who would this mysterious "they" be. It would take a rather caniving conspericy to create a false reality for this "robot Trace" to live in to use his power by exploiting his cares, real or otherwise created. Although that does remind me of the current GT administration... this nuetral fellow seems fairly set on creating some sort of relationship. Maybe it is their goal to use him, as a weapon or possibly a devider. Frankly the goals seem fairly hidden at the moment.
Well its obvious that they did plan his fall from power, maybe they planned his rise as well... somehow convincing him he must have power, indeed going so far as to instill in him his hatred for the Keidran. Maybe this sceme is more deeply rooted than I had previously thought. There are so many possibilities... so many I can not even begin to go into detail on the full extent of my speculations.
Of course this is all speculation... I have not even checked the faqs... which may very well explain most of our questions / conjecture in a more cannon sense.

But, why do they want to kill all the keidran? Something tells me is not just a racial prejudice, templars seems to smart for that. Seems like something more...

Don't think so that's the only thing that keaps this war going. Children are learnd to hate eachother in school. So I don't think it has an real reson.
