Hey all, just posting one of my newer sketches to see what you all think. I havent had time to trace this yet, but its a start. I just started working on bodies and poses, hence the odd fight pose Cheers, Chris

A good pic, but some things to keep in mind:
1) Do witht the legs what you did with the arms. Having them spread like like makes him look bow legged (not a good look for a non-cowboy). The arms overlap themselves giving the drawing a look of a third demention(sp?), just do the same with the legs.
2) Study the shape of the skull and head as a whole from an angle. His head seems to project to far past his ear, and without enough coverage by hair, keep in mind that hair travels down the neck so there should be a shading even if it is really short.
All in all a good first action pose, keep drawing (and looking at martial arts poses in movies and manga to get a fell for how the body works in motion and pose). Oh and did I mention to keep drawing?

his right leg looks like it is made out of jello, his leg is going to be straight where there is no knee, or he has some medical issues. His feet need to be larger as well. Ear looks a little out of place. Neck looks a tad bit long. The head over all looks like it's not quite right, but as if I'm some pro at this. Try a different pose that might be easier to do at first and then work from there to the more complicated stuff.
