It's in BMP format though, 'cause it's black and white, and I want to save space.

Also, for some reason my scanner puts B+W in inverse colors, but I fixed the image.

Oh, BTW I just started drawing manga this week. Well, ACTUALLY drawing it, as opposed to saying I will or drawing a tiny bit and giving up. Yay! Naturally, I am immedietly(SP?) starting a comic. It will be at either zarnworld.keenspace.com(If I'm accepted.) or at gobleteer.zapto.org.

Also, Zak is my name, has nothing to do with the picture. Just to stop copying.

But seriously, for some reason people can't access files off my server. No idea at all why. Can someone meet me in the chatroom - I don't know when all this stuff is happening, so I can't change anything.

I the chatroom doesn't crash me again , and assuming bans expire.

I know doing a comic might be good idea now but have you thought of all the responsablitily it insues?

Honestly I think you should work a bit more on your art, study like proportions and anatomy, it does wonders for art

I'm going to agree with Blind. There are some issues with this piece.

1. look at the left part of the jawline. You need to fix that up a little bit.

2. He has no eyebrows!

3. The hands look funny, but hands are just really, really annoying to get right. >.<

4. Is it a girl or boy?

If a girl, the face makes it look like a guy a little bit. (that is okay in some cases, like if you have a character that is kind of a tomboy, but it still needs to look more like a girl.
If a guy, he looks like he is wearing a skirt...

5. Is there hair behind the head? I can't tell.

With that being said (It is only my opinion, don't take it like that is right or wrong. I'm not the best drawer and need to work on a few of the same things you do.) you did really good for your first time. I don't even want to post my first manga-like pieces, or find them even. I've got a scrap piece of paper that has a year old drawing that I will probably post within the next week. Major difference.

Keep practicing your artwork and you'll get better. I wouldn't start a webcomic yet so you can have time to practice, but maybe do a practice one and get a good story going, a chapter or two maybe. Then redraw everything and try it that way so you have something to go by. Good luck! ;D

I know the hands are off, but mine are usually FURTHER off, so I'm pretty happy.

And as for the webcomic - that's how I intend to practice. I don't care whether anyone at all sees it.

I agree I'm also starting a web comic. But when I don't realy now, and as I go the drawings get better.
