Well, might as well start a help topic.
I'll start out first, feel free to ask questions about things you don't know, and hope they get answered by someone around here who is feeling generous.
My question: I'm having serious trouble with drawing legs. I am drawing a pic right now and the legs just look way too short or way too long, depending on how... short or long I make them, I can't find a happy medium. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on proportions they use for legs, or curves of muscles that may be effecting my perception of the legs. I don't have a scanner so I can't put the pic up, and I'm almost done on the paper so I don't wanna restart on tablet but GENEERAL tips on legs would help me tromendously.

Proportions are one of the biggest things that becomes apparent in drawing. Some people have really good visual skills and can just memorize muscle/bone structure, thus letting them draw everything without a hitch. Now for the rest of us, you gotta look up anatomy books. They'll let you understand correct proportions, and how the muscles of the body should look. Alot of books will also show you muscles in different positions which in turn would give you an idea of how they contract, thus allowing you to create your characters in different positions and not have them look weird. I'm still having problems with that. All my drawings seem to be in the same 3rd person perspective shot lol.

I do sometimes, but half the time it just doesn't turn out right. I hated doing that in school too. Although I got some really interesting looking concept ideas that way lol.
