This was mostly me testing my "light table" (amazing what you can do with things lying around). I can't ink and I can't draw clean pencil sketches ( example) so I'm hoping this will let me get clean drawings.

The arm it's *ahem* licking seems bent in a very odd way. Also, the arm holding it up gets bigger as it goes down. The hand is huge, but the bicep is quite skinny.
Besides a couple minor, but noticable, flaws, it is a great pic.
Edit: That angel_kid is a very good sketch. If you colored it and made it a little sharper, it would be really great.

I see what you mean. I do have an odd habit of making hands too big. Well I did color it, although I did so rather quickly (needed to submit a picture with something but was busy at the time) and cut many corners:

Well the sketchyness of the lines take the attention away from the coloring, the piece would be "stronger" if you made your lines sharper.
Like Craig said on the first piece, it's not too bad but there are a few anatomy problems.

Dude, you've got talent. Even with the sketchiness, it's still really good. Also, maybe that will be your signature style, with that cool raw feeling.

The first Pic I'd have to say does have a problem with the arm being licked, but the hand being to big is something we can never avoid. It happens to everyone.

The sketchiness is probably due to how I've been drawing for the past year or so: in class without aiming to keep anything to more than a sketch. As such I never used an eraser and simply drew over a mistake, an annoying habit I still have it seems. Sketchiness is nice because it hides flaws, however that is also bad as I don't learn as much as I can. I seem to have gotten somewhat proficient as sketchiness. These are two I did in class then retraced: This one I don't like as much:

On the first one, that dragon-thing just creeps me out. I don't really get what it's for...
On the second one, I noticed he only had one wing...yikes! Also, her hair's really, uh, shiny...yeah.
Both are very good, especially for sketches.

Both of those are extremely good, I like them a lot. You have much Talent to your style. I suggest that you stay with that style and dont change it unless you have to.
