I just finished this. Tell me what you think. Self criticism: I think that the eyes are a little funny, the stomach is too recessed, and the curves in the arms are off. The scanner sucked the color right out of this one.

Well everything looks pretty flat, you should add some shading (Refer to the tutorials section) The hair shouldn't be so stiff, hair is smooth. The nose could be longer. He should have some kind of shackle to hold him on his snowboard (He would just fall off right now ). The tail could be more fluid too. But besides that, good effort, practice makes perfect. Just work on your faults.

snowboard...d'oh! (Its supposed to be a hoverboard... And the boots are magnetic) Yea, I'll work on shading next. Seems like the easiest thing to fix. As for the hair... well, that was a bust. I tried to give it a windswept look and I screwed it up.

Well with the lack of background the viewer presumes its snow.

Not bad. Glad you posted another one. Keep it up. This is better than mine still. I will have to attempt to improve a bit faster. ;D

I think this is good like the last one, but the legs were bent a bit weird in both. Better than the last one!

He's got an expression which is definitely better than before. Although I'd have to agree with Blind. My first assumption was that he was in fact snowboarding.

Ya it looks like a snowboard. And still does. It is a pretty good drawing overall though.

I'm guessing the blue streaks are exhaust maybe? Either that or motion blur. If it is infact exhaust of some sort then you may want to make it more apparent that it's not blur. Also maybe change the color. Another simple thing you could do which would definitely lean more towards a hoverboard, is add a shadow for the board. That way it looks as if above the ground, rather than on it.

Yeah shadows can help a lot in a drawing. I had no idea it was a hover board but, a shadow would fix that problem right up.

I get it! I thought the legs were bent weird because of the lack of pant folds - sorta sideways Wait- still looks like it. Maybe like he's on his toes?
