Hey! Wow! Came her late sunday night, read the rant at the bottom of the comic (btw gj sage i lovses it) and it says "BTW Forums down servars evil, 111!!1!!1!!one eleven"
SO if anybody gets sents here, its old forum party time.
Its like weve all been on vacation and we just got back to our empty house. It seems so dead since no ones been in here for a while, and the only obvious solution is a party.

i tried to access the new forums yesterday (before the news post) and they weren't working. wonder what's the problem... so... party!  edit: and the forum isn't so lonely, you find a n00b or two from time to time posting here, not knowing about the new forum  |

Ermmmmmm ... I do not remember the problems being about an exploit as much as, erm , "hardware damage"
Tom left a messsage on the link to the new folder, something about damage being done by a parental unit.
Blarg server = dead kinda thing.

It was hardware. And it was indeed caused by a parental unit. The MySql database was lost due to the hard drive it was being held on was...in best terms destroyed. Because of this loss the backup of the forums will not work with the new database.
However, it will as previously stated take some time for the recovery of all the data on the backup.
