I'm getting tired of this. I come here maybe once a week, and leave my 2 cents worth. That's it. That's how it was before.
Now, people who have been on here for no more than 5 months have posts in the 200s and 300s. Yes, it's good that you post. But, when you post every 5 seconds, it gets rather annoying to hear your worthless babble.
This is a change that I normally deal with, but because I was here in the beginning, it is something I can't handle. If I am suddenly gone, don't bother trying to bring me back. But, hopefully, I will stick this point in your head, and you might start trying to help the board, and not destroy it.

You're getting mad at people for posting on a message board? That makes you sound like an ass, honestly. Just because you don't post as often as other people doesn't make them annoying and if you don't like what they have to say then don't read their posts no one is forcing you to (at least I don't think anyone is.).

Still, it doesn't do the board any good for people to post every 5 seconds with a two word answer. I understand Craig's position better than most. I treat it as my job to clean up the garbage that some people leave on this Forum. It used to be that people would have long drawn out discussions on what happend in the comic. That sort of thing still happens today and I'm happy it does. But the forum in general just keeps getting more people posting for the sake of posting. Rasing their post count so that it looks like they've been here, they're experienced. 'That person has a really high post count I should be more like him.' It doesn't get us anywhere! I was gone for a month back in June I come back and two new people who joined in that time have a post count over two hundred. Most of those consisting of "dood", "omg", and other stuff that's uninteligibla because they did bother with spelling. Eg. fplorar's sdo hotr i bnets tat shsa ghonas gts sone wtis Tracge Continuing-> He's mad at people OVER POSTING on the Twokinds message board, and he hasn't been the only one. GAhh~!-*Has pent up rage induced stroke* *THUD*

You can't expect everyone to be able to type, spell, and express an opinion in more than one word like you or I can.

Hey its a message board! So here's my opinion! I think that you come off rather rude. 5 months - aproximately 150 days right? Make 2 posts a day? 300 posts? That sound fine -- actually -- i'd say thats a little low - its really common for someone to post over 20 times a day (Though not on a small message board like this) So in all honesty - you dont post enough ^_^
As for spelling -- Thats something you have to deal with - I hate seeing spelling that makes my head spin - but some of these people do not speak english as their first language! Try to deal with it because in all honesty none of us can do anything about it (Except Defender!)
Yes Spam is bad - but sometimes you may think its pointless when they honestly think it needed to be said or they really wanted to say it.
As for "destroying the board" - i think thats over exagerating it -- and its not your job its the Mod and Admin's job to keep the forum running well - if someone is posting way to much or posting things against the rules -- ban them... its that simple ^^

I like to post all over the place as well .... I got my post count fairly high in a short period of time. I'd liek to think that I am not responsible for this post ... but I am sure at least parts of it apply ...

Yeah... not becasuse they "overpost", but because what they post IS just for the sake of posting. Like 10 people trying to get the last word in. Meaningless goddlydygook. But, people talk like that in real life too and not as many people complain about it - becausse they can avoid it. Here, it's closer to someone runing around a room and saying "yeah" to every conversation, than a seperate one. It would get annoying.
Of course, not everyone who's new with or with a high post count does it, nor are they the only ones.
Just try not to say something not worth saying(either because it's already said and you're paraphrasing agreement/what the last person said because you're too lazy to remember the earlier posts or possibly even read them, like here, or beacause you're not saying anything at all.)
Remember, no one's FORCING you to have any posts at all. Look at Tom! I believe he reads everything, but look at how little he says! Try the chatroom?
That said, I know I'm doing the same thing right now.
Edit: But it's called the Ranting Board. So that's OK. 'Cause this is how rants are supposed to go.

Well, not to be a pest, but isn't going through, reading, and replying to segments on a messege bord why it's there to be gin with? I've been on enough furry forms to know that yeah, you get a few people that just go through and spam the bords, but that's what the mods are for, to go through and remove any junk that some annoying pest scattered throughout the form. -.-;; I should know, I am one on three of them.

If someone is on the forum for 5months, and post in every five seconds that means 2592000 post. A bit more than 200-300. So it`s not a big number. I like it more than forums where I have to wait days to see a new post. On an another forum I asked a question about a week ago, and there is still no answer to it. So, as I see it: this forum is alive. I don`t post much, becouse I want to stay a wanderer , and becouse I dont like to speak too much. (I even deleted some of my old posts) If someone makes spam thats an another thing, but making a lot of post dont means always spamming.

I haven't been here very long but from what I have seen in the threads I visit every day, this isn't accually a big issue as it is made to be. 90% of the time or more, the posts made are intellegent and questioning or at least have some relivance. I really haven't seen much spam and that might be because moderators are doing ther job. And if they are doing there job then there is no reason to complain because it is being removed. Most of the stuff here is all valid. Some people post more than others because they just like to discuss things, other don't have the time to post 1-20 times in a day. I don't spam that many posts, and i have broken over 100 posts within a few weeks, its not that hard nor takes a large amount of time. I ussually posts 1 to every topic that intrests me, ussually around 5-10 topics. Once a day maybe a few more. thats around 50-100 posts in a month., considering multi posts some days. Sure some are short, but lenght doesn't make a post good, the content does. There are many short posts that do their job. Maybe its jsut me but I really don't see a high traffic of spam on the board.

Yes, it's true that I rarely post. But, when there's a person who's been here for a month, and they have more posts than anyone, that's when it becomes ridiculous. The point is to leave your two cents, and this only applies when you have something meaningful to say about the topic. Otherwise, keep it to yourself.
