that means "your" ... kinda
I beleive what you refer to is "l337"
use the google, im sure you can find some tutorials.

Really...... and how do you manage to use the internet now?  ?? Really ... go to google, look up "l337" tutorial or some such thing. THEN LO0K FOR AN APPLICABLE RESULT. It's not rocket science. Seach engines are a basic skill. |

Explain to me what j00r is first...then maybe I can help. Because as it currently stands, I have no idea what you're talking about. Asides from Lardmaster's posts regarding the "1337" language...that's the closest I've come to having a clue  |

Either way both languages are annoying. Anyone who uses them should be shot. They are devolped by illertate 12 year old people who wannabe cool. Use common english, if you wanna say I pwn j00r ass h4h4h4 l050|2 h4x0|2!!11!! then for the love of god just say I will own your ass loser hacker, if your gonna say soemthing, use something called a real language.

From what I can discern .. l33t began as an numeric language used for pager messaging. Eventually a few odd folks from the older generation of computer kiddies started to use it, and it blossomed out of a few closed communities and was embraced by many. It just happens to be the language of choice for these new timers. I feel like I should be some old man telling tales of what used to be back when the world was young. Argh I havent slept in ... wait.

Anyway, its just another geek language for those of us who enjoy it. Like hylian , or elvish, or something else. I know it doesn't make me cool ... but I just can't stay away from these pointless languages. The "12 year old mentality" is that it suddenly makes them cool, smart, hip / etc, designens of the intarwebs. Not me though. Reality is just where my body stays. Im only visit there on occasion.

It was a hacker language... There is a comic in Bigger then Cheese's that talks about that.
And yes, It is one of the most annoying things. I'd recommend you not even searching for the freaking thing... All you are gonna make with it are enemies.
If you are trying to learn it to understand whoever writes with it, don't bother... there's really not a lot worth reading from those guys.
