Just an update for Twokinds on Top Web Comics:
Overall - 15 PG-13 - 10 Manga - 1 Fantasy - 6 Drama - 3 Humor - 13
This isn't bad, but we still need to get Twokinds into the top ten! So, vote everyday, from any computer possible.

You say that like its a bad thing... cheating is just obtaining a goal you would obtain anyway in a quicker and more subversive fasion!

You real ly know what you 're doing. Do you get in troble often or somthing ?It doesn't really matter at this point weather some people are cheating or not. The real issue is what is causing our "Out" vote to continue climbing faster than the "in" vote. It might be caused by voting from the same IP address more than once a day. Another option is that it's caused by clicking the buton that indicates that you were tricked into voting. If anyone knows the real answer it would be nice to know.

(I just tested this) I don't know if voting more than once a day from one IP address or the tricked into voting button makes that number go up, I'll have to check that. ;D Voting from one IP address more than once doesn't raise the out number and the tricked into voting button doesn't raise the number either.

Hey, I've been reading up, and I found a place in the TopWebComics forum that explains the out/in votes.
In votes are people going from my site to TopWebComics, ie. someone hits the vote button on the main page to vote for my site.
The Out votes are just how many people go from TopWebComics to my site, via the link on the listing. So actually, it's kinda a good thing, because it means more people are checking out Twokinds.

Those bastards! It's not really a marking of what people think of Tom's site, It's how many from our site go to TWC!! That's just wrong... somehow.

I dunno... they're not going to vote if they don't like it. And they actually have to vote, not just go there. But yeah, the hit counter is usually better... except all those going through the archives.
Hey, post with trail-offs #300!(300/301)
Okay, so I'm bad at resolutions!

Hey here's another one that can move to the ranting board.
If you want them moved back to the comic discussion board, just say so.

Bastards no that doesn't sound right it..well, kinda cheap when you think about it but it does make sense when you look at it fromt here point of veiw they want the publicity so naturally the more poeple go to there site from a site the better it should be ranked

No, actually the "IN" counter is simply how many votes that Twokinds gets thru the vote button. Nothing happens if you just go to TWC through Twokinds without voting. It's good to have a high out tally, because the main purpose of TWC is to generate more traffic, the second purpose is to rank the comics. I've been on TWC for about four months now, we're ranked about 5 places behind Twokinds, which btw I discovered through TWC (My webcomic is http://penguins.tk). I owe a lot of my traffic to TWC.
