Thank God! Thursday's my last day (half a day, anyway), and then it's on to summer vacation! ;D *plays "Schools Out" by Alice Cooper on black Les Paul electric guitar*

haha. I got out Friday, so I have been a bum all weekend. It's sad to see all my friends leave for the summer. I'm going to the High School. It's sad watching this one guy go to another school because he was so friendly. But I'll stop ranting. Good luck with the rest of the week! ;D <edit> Oh, you are so lucky you can play guitar. I'm trying to learn, but I'm goin really slow.

Electric guitar is fun, because you can get away w/just playing power cords as oposed to full cords (which are hard for me to do). I play lead guitar in the band I'm in. I'm still a bit slow w/my fingerings, but I'm gettin' better.

How long have you played? I've only been playing for about a month or two, but I've switched from my mom's classical guitar to a regular acoustic guitar a few weeks ago which makes me have to relearn finger positions and get more strength in my fingers for everything to sound right. I also have to play piano, which is semi-annoying.

Bwah! I beat both of you! Since I am (was) a senior, I got out Wednesday! I have done nothing constructive since! (Except that pesky job crap).
However, I envy both of you cuz you got musical talent. I've tried to play guitar and sucked majorly.

That is when things get interesting. ;D I only know seven chords, so it's hard to play much.

However well you perform has gotta be better than me. ;D You said that you have been slowly getting better. I have tried for a while (a friend of mine has a guitar or two) yet made zero progress.

lol. I play right-handed style even though i'm left handed, but it seems to be better for me for some reason. Just practice one thing at a time and you'll get better.

Yeah, you're right. Now that I'm out of school (FOR GOOD until college), I can probably focus on something I actually enjoy. ;D

I've been playing guitar for a couple of years now, and that's only on an electric guitar. Regular chords can be a pain for me sometimes so I don't like usin' 'em. I've got a black Gibson Special Les Paul. The amp I use is my dad's, a Marshall. My dad's got a Paul Stanley signature guitar and a Washburn. They're both really cool.

That's gotta suck. I've got summer english class for the first three weeks of summer vacation. It means a half credit less to take next year, so I only have to have a semester of english next year! ^_^ It's interesting for me to think that next year's my senior year. High school went by so fast!

Dude, you have gotta milk your senior year for all its worth. Screw academics (okay, don't or you will have fun with your senior year twice)! I guarantee you that you will have a BLAST.

I don't know if I should dread Freshman Year or not. It's going to be fun. I've got a lot of friends in High School so it shouldn't be too bad. I live next door to my old English Teacher and that has been... interesting since I don't like her. Oh well.

Freshman year was OK for me, but in a way it helped that my dad's a teacher. He's the choir director and also teaches Integrated Arts (computer & tech stuff). I love both of those classes.
