So what if Twokinds would be made into a movie?
Would you like to see the whole movie handdrawn? (Old Disney-movies) Or would you like to see the whole movie computer-rendered? (Final Fantasy, Pixar-movies) Or would you like to see real people acting and have Computers add Fur, Ears and Tail to the Actors that play Keidran and/or Basitin? Or would you like to see real people acting and have the Keidran and Basitin completely computer-created? (Garfield) Or do you think a movie would be stupid?
I'd choose the fourth option. I believe it (or the third) would also attract more people who don't know TK than the other options.

I love 3D in all, but taking something from it's original format to another doesn't work out too well in my opinion. Persay, 2D that looks 2D. Although that Appleseed clip I saw didn't look too bad because they cell shaded the 3D models and gave it a sort of 2D feel. But I still opt for 2D lol.

I don't think 3-d could really represent Flora or Trace that well. I think animation is the only way to go, since the original form that we all know and love (right??) is 2-d to begin with.

Have any of you ever seen a video called "Molly Star Racer"? Well that looks entirely animated...really animated actually lol, but it's 3D with 2D rendering. I'm not saying Twokinds shouldn't be 2D, because it should lol. However it's possible to get a 2D look but really be 3D. Sage might have seen it because they show all sorts of weird things to students at school lol. These are the people that did "Molly Star Racer": www.savtheworld.com/eng/index.php3

Oh... I forgot about that... Cellshaded 3D. I'd be pleased with any option actually, as long as it's done high quality... I chose 3D though because special effects (such as berserk Trace) look most impressive in 3D... Yeah I know...

I chose 3D though because special effects (such as berserk Trace) look most impressive in 3D... Yeah I know... Toon shading still looks 3d when you look at it and its still a 3d model which has SO many more limitations than a traditional 2d animation -- but about the 3d effects --- well you most-likely would use 3d effects in the 2d animation- some things people just cant draw over and over again which is why we have some great movies like Atlantas (good 3d/2d blending) basically you would never draw certain things out totally - you let a computer do most of the shading lighting and effects "for you" ... enough of that i have to go back to work- its 5:12 and my classmate is giving me a hard time about posting on a forum instead of modeling... the jerk!

Yeah I have to admit Atlantis was done pritty well. Twokinds would probably work well if done with the same mix effects that it was.

2-D or real. But I wouldn't watch it if Tom didn't make it, 'cause Holywood SUCKS at keeping stuff good.
Um... not to insult stuff actually made FOR Holywood. I'm just mad at all the book-to-movies I've had ruined.

Yup. Tom definitely would have to direct, choose actors/drawers (if not himself ), etc... . Else it wouldn't be Twokinds.

Hmm, one person to draw a full lenth animated movie?
That'd only take about, oh 20 years or so of continuos work. Good luck Tom.
I think a few more animators would be needed.
Hollywood dosn't ruin everything. Remember that one movie? Uh... yeah, that one was okay, right?
