What kind of music do you guys like the most? Favorite singers/bands? Favorite song? I like jpop and jrock the most, but I'll listen to some of the popular stuff in America once in a while. My favorite band right now is Asian Kung-Fu Generation. They are just really cool. I like their songs Loop and Loop and Haruka Kanata alot. I also have an Utada Hikaru obsession. ;D I cannot wait any longer for her American CD!  It is driving me nuts! |

Well, I listen to a wide range of music, crossing over several catagories...but I guess I really like Enya, that band from Englend, just because their music is what inspired me to create Twokinds. I guess I'm just wierd like that.

I forgot about rap. I can't stand most of it, though very few rap songs are okay, most being Japanese. Most of the stuff that you see on MTV I can't stand, though there is about a week every now and then that I'll just watch it randomly.  I can't stand country music, and that is all that I can find on the radio around here. My radio alarm clock is set to fuzz so I won't be awaken by it.  I forgot another band. The Pillows are awesome! They did the music for Furi Kuri (FLCL) and one of my friends and I are just hooked. I made her a CD of their music and we listened to it for about an hour on some school field trip where we were stuck in a bus for an hour and a half. Plus the quiet singing in McDonalds. Okay, time for me to shut up. |

Me, I like quite a bit of what my dad likes, and then some. Now before you get any smart ideas, here are some bands he's got in his CD collection: - Green Day - Metallica - Saliva - Linkin Park (I gave it to him for his b-day, and he likes it a lot.) - etc. He also has a huge collection of 80's rock. I'm big on 80's rock, as well as stuff from today. I also like some classic bands n' stuff like The Beatles.  |

Oh, man, I LOVE jazz and rock. Any kind of rock, metal, old school, alternative. You name it and I probably have it.
I also like to buy soundtracks for a buncha different animes. Just because one or two songs catch my attention during the series, and then I find the rest of the music to be just as good.
Concerning Japanese bands, you are all forgetting the greatest of them all: The Seatbelts! The guys who did the entire Cowboy Bebop soundtrack! Mmmm... Tank.

Uh... I like classic and minamilist, and soft rock is okay, though I don't listen to it much. I don't listen to any music too much, though I have a huge MIDI collection. Wish there was a MIDI player...

I listen to almost everything...except rap...and a little country, any more is too much. I mostly listen to oriental and anime soundtracks ^^ its a lot harder to remember the words.

I have gotten into a recent obsession with Jewel's music because of one of my friends. I just wish I had money to buy the CDs. It does seem that everyone has somewhat similar tastes here. I'm going to agree with Raven, anything I listen too has to have a good beat.

I recently bought Jewel's CD and its really good, most of the songs are great unlike the normal soundtrack wich has about only 2 good songs |

I've listened to most of them by now, but I only own two so far. I want to get the newest one because it's got a few tracks I really like and I think I dozed off for the rest. ;D It was 1am at the time so I don't think you can blame me. (getting in the car at 9am mountain time and driving until 1am central time isn't good for a person)
