well I got a viruse hideing in a spybot , and norton was stupid enough to let it go thrugh, luckly MY own product found it, and the virus was sent by a frind in reveng for scrueing with his WLAN. But you should be aware of this shise so download a program like Adaware, and Im pulling a lot of person page info from my tracecrt and packetsniffers so download spybot tracers thrugh google for free. ...crapy "pandora's box" virus

I have three anti-virus programs, and two pop-up blocking programs, but a virus still got trough. The best thing to do is to isolate it on a seperate HD. It's really easy to do, but it will take up some space.

Humm that works but still I'm concerned about the amount of personal data I'm pulling in at work. And it sounds like you've met one of what rubedio calls a "pandor's box" stupid POS are like extra annoying trogens so they are invisible to most, mine only looks for Rubedio's "mark" on the stuff, so sorry can't help you wit your problem...

It's really not that bad. When it was on the main HD, it didn't do any damage, it was just THERE. Of course, the virus scanner noticed it when it finally got into the HD, but didn't stop it from getting in. Also, I was thinking of having one of my mom's friends clean this one out, and start over. I've got a lot of crap on here I don't need anymore. ;D

Running that many programs is kinda pointless - firstly, it really slows down your comp. Second, really only the best should be used. Thirdly... a lot of the free ones out there contain spyware themselves!

Well, I only use this comp for the internet, so it wouldn't be necessary to clean it totally. And, Mr. Chrono, you have anger problems.,.,.

Well as long as he doesn't do any thing stupid then I'm fine with it...also he would probly hack the sight to get the password any way, so I think I'll keep you safe from his hacking...for now...
