The goat's name is Baphomet. He's one of the most powerful bosses in the game.

Yeah RO is a pretty neat game. First time I played it was the last day of the first beta. Meaning I was hooked but had to wait three months for it to start again -_- When it started costing money i sorta stopped. I never get really far but it was really nice. And the music was pretty good. In fact I just installed the beta yesterday and am listening to the music RIGHT NOW

Meh .. the fire died out years ago .. only faint embers of interest remain. The game lacked depth. There were things to do, items to geet, freinds to hang out with. But it failed to satisfy me. It grew tiresome .. it was no longer much of a joy to play, only an avatar rich form of communication. It was fun in that sense, until the membership expired. We would take long treks through remote and dangerous areas. Hiking through the wilderness, seeking areas of scenic beauty, remote, quiet palces. We would sit together and admire the beauty of this fantasy realm. It's amazing how I almost always fail to do this in reality ... but when it is presented as a game, I jump on the task. It's as if I desire something readily avaliable to me ... but am uninterested in the actual thing. How bizzarre. But there must be more to it than this. Maybe it's the freedom from the bounds of reality. Maybe it's the fact that it is a fantasy realm is what draws me to it. But this reaises the question of true happiness. I dream of it, but it seems that it will always stay a dream. What I think is ahppineess is for all intents and perpouses impossible. Ive doomed myself to a lonely life of longing for something I can only hope to obtain. Video games are killing my soul ... Maybe I make it sound to drastic ... there is still some life in me .. I doubt I am that far gone... The trick with games like this is to take verything in small amounts. Keep interested, but don't play to the point of obsession. It can only lead to sorrow.

The private servers were much more interesting because most of them had more involvement between players and GMs. One game I played in had experience, job experience and item drops set to x400 and the max level was well over 99. I was around level 114 when my computer suddenly stopped letting Ragnarok Online work. I had a guild with over 10 members in it, a Muramasa and Goldenbug Helmet, I was a Knight with somewhere around 180 attack speed. So many things... I'll probably start playing again once I get my new computer.
