Lol, I saw your sig so I went and checked that out a while ago. Seems like something you have to grow into... roleplaying forums..... Although it would be a cool way to play tabletop games if you built a random number generator into the thread and had a vigilent dm ;p
Ps Seig Your avatar looks so much sadder now - I kind of liked the color contreast in the other.. expression was similar but it made it seem so much more upbeat

Gaia reminds me of Ragnarok Online, It's fun and really cute to look at, but my short attention span means that I will never get far in either...  EDIT: I change my Ava all the time, there'll be another one up eventually, until then enjoy the angsty cute. |

My friend plays Gaia. I myself almost joined. But I am more of an IRC/Chat RPer than I am forum based. I like to interact with the players a bit better than a forum board that also confuses me lol. Yes I use to be an Old School Ayenee RPer as well as a few other realms back in the day ( 3-5 years ago) and even Rped on soemthign called Furcadia (Big, furry game)

Ive always liked the open ended non compat based feel of chat rp's ... but I enjoy the rule structure and nomenclanture of dnd and the like. Thats why a forum based RP seems so grand, you can have both.

Hrmm... I might be intrested in it then. I really miss the old RP days ; ; before people introduced T2 and T3 format chat RP. I was a strict T1 Para Turn-based ( anyone who knows those terms, props to you! RP style forever XD ) Then all those people ruined it and I have yet to find another fun place to RP at.

There is never more variety than that created by different minds. It is quite rare, however, to have these dissonant thoughts collide into anything even worth wasting memory by reading.... But, if it happens it is the most beutiful harmony one would ever want to hear.
Yes.. the problem.. the problem. It's hard to get the mind involved.. always so distant.
And this is why I have problems with rping... I cant keep my brain focused straight for more than a second. I never post on those.. I just can't seem to get in with the way people act on there. Everyone is some weird half angel/fairy/fruitcake or something and its just plain weirding me out. I suppose no one wants to be human when they are pretending to be someone else. So all it ends up as is a bunch of monolithic whose sheer oddness makes most interaction impossible. Everyone is so concerned with acting so different that coherency is neigh impossible, and nothing ever seems to happen other than random --- im not exactly sure what to call this so ill just say-- actions driven by ego or instincts. Nobody acts liek people.. it all seems too fake.. and not the good Fantaasy kind of fake its supposed to be, its all angsty goth/ drama queen weirdness.
Maybe im not really involved enough to know the truth, but i suppose the truth is subjective anyways, so this is just how i feel.
