...ps i found a really cool word, meaning the three worlds:
AbhiraamastrilokaanaaM.
friggen sweet! *continues to look for translators and the history on the language

Iike i said, that world is the literal translation of "the 3 worlds"... i dont know enough of the religion that corrilated with the civilization during the time of which sanskrit was used, but it follows my story of more than one world ^ ^ i found that word after i decided to use that language... just a cool goodie.
Now off to do homework, then back to researching stuff for my story weeeee!

Try the Anglo-Saxon period. That's some of the earliest 'modern' languages around.

Well, lets just hope the story doesnt spend to much time in Sanskrit-ia and it likely wont tax your translato-bility.

I dont plan to spend more than one or two comics with sanskrit incorperated, the characters both experiance some earth shattering event that awakes their... i guess you could call it their power... and they all of the sudden speak their language.. so from then on its in english. ^ ^

Just generally a language. Linguists made up a name for it, but I don't think there actually is one. I's not writen, they just guess at it from what the common root would be.
Personally, I'd translate it to latin and then "weird" it.
Or you could make up your own, as it could be WAY before either.
Edit: Also, try what all those fake Necronomicons used. That was supposed to look pre-arabic and egyptian.
