Well .. maybe Trace is jsut a different person. It would be tearing me up inside to not not know what I used to be. I mean really it doesnt matter, were not that person anymore, and there really isnt anything to be done about it. Darn people who dont worry about things they can't control. But surely his companions must know something.... bah
Anyways, it would seem rather silly to think his feelings could be erased by alittle scare. What would that say about their value to him if that were so.

See, but in Trace's position, he's not really sure who he is, but he probably has a vague memory of what he may have done. He's not sure, but it's there. Then he's got Flora, and his new memories, which as weird as they've been have been great. Now...some part of you knows that if you were your true self, this wouldn't be happening. Would you really want to remember? There's so many "what if's" and possibilities. It's crazy I tell ya.

The world is a beutiful tapestry woven from possibilites. Chance is everything, nothing is for certain. Its what keeps me going man. Theres always a chance to change. You can never bring back those who have died.. but maybe just maybe I can make things better than they were.
