Glowy eyed Flora...Will SHE blast Trace? i think her eyes are like that because well -- Trace's hand is glowing too... hence -- hes doing a lot more than choking her...  Oh and with the tower -- you think it will break and Trace will go back to normal? That would have been some foreshadowing and the fact that he took the time to put it in the last panel... |

Yeah but its something with the tower alright... but the thing is, did trace "call" for it or did it come to him? It all happened when Flora got hurt, so if it wasn't him it would seem strange that the weapon activates when she gets hurt. Or ofcause it obeys Trace's feelings, maybe thats why he put em up, an insurance. Hope trace gets out of his great adhd attack... oh rampage.
We'll see in a few days... or maybe wensday?

Wow, this was just scarey! I guess we will just have to wait and see how this works out. Still, I would like some more background on Trace so we can find out why he is such a psychotic.

wait....if her eyes are all glowie than shouldn't she have magic too...but with the stuff Trace is pulling I doubt that Flora would live...but she can't die yet...*wanders off to think*...*hits the back of Tom's head* don't know why I did it, it just seemed to be the right thing to do

I see a few possibillities. Here are a few.
1: Trace becomes skitzophrenic (Couldn't spell that if I wanted to.) and has some kind of internal battle.
2: Tower blows up, and either from magical blast or physical concussion, (the blast knocks a big rock on his head. ^^) Trace forgets about the Templar stuff again.
3: Trace has a revelation, and breaks free from the templar 'brainwashing' (you know, all that text in the background of that comic a week back or so.) due to his time spent with flora...
4: He kills flora. (BOOOO)
5: I shoot trace with a .50 cal rifle. (w00t! ;D) ....j/k
*joins the tom hunt with his rifle*

The other option is that she's going into 'hunt/kill' mode, which, up to now, has only been seen once.
However, her face doesn't seem to have remolded like it did before.
From that, it seems more likely that she's about to blast him.
And has anyone else noticed how Trace's hair tips change color?
Anyway, the towers were built by him, and if the way he treated the old Grand Templar was any indication, he's a greedy bastard who would have an override set.
In all likelihood, the crazy thing is some sort of power booster, and since he doesn't CONCIOUSLY know how to draw on it, it's probably emotionally based.
That, or the memories buried in his subconcious are ripping free, but I doubt that, since that would more likely lead to an internal personality conflict as he tried to sort through all this new-old data.

Ah, but Flora is an illusion too! You can even see Trace's arm through her hand!
So, anyone think that he was ever really back to normal? The tips of his hair seem change color when he's using powers and whatnot, and his hair was normal looking in the first four panels. So, can he suppress it at will, or did he just become "evil" again in the last two panels?

We know Flora won't die yet for a fact, so she must get back at him somehow. But this will probably cause an odd moment between the two like Flora's actions before. Anything could happen now, but it seems that the tower is glowing more than before (but that could be the perspective change).
How Flora's eyes are glowing is similar to the guy that was killed in the comic before this one, so I don't think Flora has some kind of magic to release or anything like that.

See! People dont read my entire post -- ^_^ like i said (though no one has considered it a possiblility) that Trace's arm is glowing while hes choking her - so i think that Trace is channeling some sort of magical force into her head (possibly one of those nice ways of screwing around with a victims brain before they die... or just them being "force fed" a lot of bad magical energy...
Flora using magic? I dont think it suits her... though it would be cool...
(Still usually its a physical fighter and a magic user for a "party" in almost everything ^_^ -- yall know they have the blob creatures that are resistant agains physical attacks and lizard things that naturally shrug off certain spells ^_^)
