Hey Tom, hopefully you don't care I'm posting this here. If it's annoying, just delete it... I was thinking about starting up a webcomic... It will be a fantasy type one if I actually make it. I have very little art skill, so it'll be pathetic if I do. I need a main character. Can someone help me make a character? The characteristics don't matter... Can anyone help me out?

Well, it doesn't have to be. How about an apprentice-type person run away?

I can think of a past for the character after I get the basic characteristics... Cause at this point I have no idea if its male, female, other (No clue what I'm talking about there...) , or the hair color, or the eye color...

Oh, that's what you meant. When you said "Characteristics aren't important" I tough you meant you DIDN'T want those.

Seriously, I thing someone still learning is a good idea. Not animal (as far away from a land squid as possible, eh?)

Well depending on the story, usually web comics have 3 - 4 characters, the caracteristics might vary a bit.
1 - The Hero: Naive, dumb, courageous, strong sense of values.
2- The assistant: Strong sense of friendship, a bit excentric.
3- The "girl": Very feminine, love/hate relationship with the hero
4- The coward: Easily scared, can be manipulated.

Thanks ^_^. The character I'm developing now is the hero. I'm still clueless about what the hero looks like... I now know its male tho.

I dunno... maybe but a human kid, like I was thinking earlier. Or you could come up with your own ideas and I could use that.
