The necklace is back. I was prepared to swear she put it into the bag in the strip where she takes her clothes off and was going to call this a continuity error, but what do you know, she's actually still wearing it while she's putting the things away. Kudos to Tom.
This is kinda unfair on us readers, though. The scene we really want to see keeps getting pushed back.
I'm betting somehow the others are going to bust in on Flora and Trace. Poor Trace.

Well, lessee... Trace: Ask stupid question, get stupid answer. This is leading to hilarity, like I predicted!

Are you feeling any strange moods at the moment?
JUST MABEY (Trace cant see her blush cause of her fur perhaps?)
It took a few seconds for the catnip in the drink to get into her blood stream I think. Besides the fact that Trace touched the necklase. ;D

;D Unless someone bursts in on them, i can't really see this going in a bad direction, but more then likely, i think Keith will be the one to spoil it.
I kinda miss Keith in there though, he's just been wandering around for the last few comics.

Worst case scenario is that Sythe busts in on them. That would really suck......DON'T EVEN THINK IT TOM!!!

Now, we know the drink triggered it and caused the jewel to glow, but is it entirely responsible? I think that the jewel could be part of this. I mean, it could effectively be a mood ring (obviously a bit more specialized, but still), just as Trace said (though I find it strange and unlikely that their world would have mood rings), but it could also be directing or amplifying the effect. I simply don't think it's a coincidence (could be dramatic timing, though) that she experienced the mood change right when Trace touched the jewel.
Still, no matter the cause this should prove to be quite entertaining.

Well, Bio, You have an interesting point. Remember at the begining when Flora put on the jewel? She said " How could I be so stupid? I knew that that jewel was used in human marriages to bind two people together.*sigh* I think I'll just wear it for now and take it off later." That's the closest I could remember what she said about that without going back in the archive. And Terotrous, I like what you are thinking. The part we have all been waiting for seems to always gets put aside for later. Good job, Tom! I love how you been doing the comic. Props, bro!

I think the funniest person to bust in on them would be Maran, seeing as how she's Trace's old girlfriend and all.

Okay. I've thought about it a bit and here's my revised take on what has and is going to happen.
As Id suggested earlier I'm going to say that Flora's drink was an aphrodisiac, and nothing more. This made her a bit more... active and caused the jewel to glow, but not what we are seing in the last two panels. When Trace grabbed the jewel to inspect the glow it became that he was holding Flora's heart in his hand, in both figurative and literal senses. Based on this I think that in the next few comics Flora will get closer making Trace uncomfortable and causing him to let go. After a few seconds delay Flora will return to normal. Curious about what happened Trace will touch the jewel a few more times in experimentation making Flora's personality go back and forth, much to our amusement and Traces discomfort. Eventually a conclusion will be reached and the truth realized after which I do not know what actions will be taken based on it.
I actually feel that this is a fairly possible scenario and would work rather well at preventing anything serious from happening, without being so boring as to have someone barge in and stop them. Ah well, I can dream, can't I?

Not everyone on this board is as perverted as you Tero... Hey hey hey. I wasn't talking about that kind of scene. Besides, Flora's topless almost all the time, isn't that enough?

I found this site by mistake while looking for drawings of catpeople to give me inspirations for my stories. Since the storyline for twokinds was so cool and the starting so similar to the start of my story, I just stayed on. Twokinds: still in my top 10 webpages.
It really dosent matter to me what happens to them just as long as they end up together in the end. You don't need gratious ammounts of nudity or sex to show that they truly care about each other.
