saving images to disk is your friend the colouring isn't bad but i find her position kinda awkward. I tried saving it to disk -- that didnt work either Anyways thanks to the Deviant link I can see it... Some of the body proportions are akward - is she suposed to look heavy? Not many people draw heavy characters for comics ^_^ Sooo to make her look slimmer make her arms (and shoulders) less broad - take out that buldge in her legs ( the line should be pretty straight... instead of curved in and out.) Also when coloring Black hair its good to use a dark shade of grey - not black -- if you are going to use pure black make sure that it goes over the lines - they look out of place in the black hair...

Well for one no she isn't fat, I don't realy see how she could look fat, two if she even does looks that way in a sort its because of the way she is sitting it kinda pushes your sides out when you sit like that, and the lines on the legs just show the curve of her legs and if is drawn any other way it would look either flat or realy stupid.

Maybe you dont understand -- she looks chubby- if you cant see it then you must still have the image you were trying to draw fresh in your mind. Look you dont have to listen to me but I see her- she looks chubby -- i dont know ive just been doing this for my entire life - i dont know what im talking about -- yeah drawing lines not taking into acount that you legs fold SLIGHTLY like that -- ok enough sarcasam -- she looks fat - she looks like a man with boobs- there happy? Shes built like a football player. I dont care what perspective you look at is shes way bigger than i would draw her...
I try to be nice but if you arent going to look at things objectively i cant be "nice"-- you can draw -- so keep working on it, if you dont oh well have a nice day.

I'm not trying to be mean or hard, but your the only person that has seen the picture that says she looks fat and her legs are mest up, and out of the people even Tom doesn't see any problems, so I'm not saying you don't know what your doing its just you see the picture that way I guess.

Sorry if i sound mean -_- im really stressed out- But like i said - she looks manly -- the lines on the leg should be less curved and either her head should be bigger or the shoulders should be slimmer. The reason no one else has said anything is because either they arent used to looking at anatomy OR they dont want to critic your work because they dont want you to get upset with them. I dont want you to be mad at me for saying what I see Its just i do this all the time -- I go to an art school and if i dont tell people how i see things they never get there best work done...

No, I'm not mad or anything, I'm just saying that your the only one that see's the picture like that, and everyone I asked has an artistic background, and one of them, has college work on art and advertisement. The other thing is I have plenty of anotomy books and I have been going to art classes since I could use a crayon, so I have been doing this most of my life as well, I just never had a scanner. So your oppinion is your opinion.

unless you have a tumor in your leg it doesnt buldge out that much - overall the legs look really big - the shoulders are way to big for a female character - these are anatomy problems not an opinion... (thanks to Lindsay for the last image)

lets see if I want to draw strait animated stuff then ya I'll draw strait lines, but the way you outlined just makes her sit up more thats all if you look her she is more slouched in and relaxed so parts of the body are going to look fat even though they arn't, if you want i can scan on a picture out of an anatomy book that i have thats actualy very simialr to the outline of the picture.

oh and also i forgot to add, I let my art teacher judge she said that the only problem with it is the buldge at the end of where her knee is, that thats the only part that needs to be stariter, and that the shoulders are normal. So you where partialy correct on the legs.

did i mention that the breasts are to high up? and the shoulders are still to large.
Here is another critic made by another artist - "the thighs aren't forshortened correctly...her shoulders are to wide...and her lower torso looks upright, but her upper torso looks like shes leaning back, but her neck and shoulders don't match that."
If you want to FIX it then you have to do something about those shoulders -- i know ive said this a bunch of times but she looks like a football player and im pretty sure you dont want her to look like that. Of course i dont know how slim you want her to look though. Anyways the census says - she looks about 160lbs but its hard to tell from a sitting view.

Well I'm going to end this right here, by saying what ever makes you sleep at night, but I'm just getting sick of arguing with you cuz its just anoying that you can't get past that nothing to wrong with it, I guess I should go burn my anatomy books, and tell the few college grad artist I talked to that they shouldn't have gone to college, so ya lets just end this cus I'm tired of arguing over anatomy its real immature if you think about it.
But if it will make you happy I'll say that a few things could be changed to make it look better but I still don't see anything wrong with it that would make the picture not worth the time.
