What do you use to draw the comic?
Micron pens (or any other kind of pen) or a tablet?

Who, me? Well, I use a non-photo blue pencil to sketch my comics, then ink with various micron pens (.20 - .35). After that I scan it up and clean it with photoshop 5.5 (can't afford a newer version). That's about it. I do own a tablet, but I don't know how to use it. ;D
I'm planning on making a tutorial someday if people want it, though I doubt I'm the kind of guy you'd want to learn from.

I got a pack of Microns along with a set of Prismacolors from the art supply store in Orlando. Though I don't live there anymore. I got some Sculpy too, cause that stuff is awesome for modeling things. I have a non-photo pencil, but my scanner picks it up anyways, heck if I know why. (Only faintly of course, but still there). Doesn't matter though, I just erase whatever in PS, and all is well.

Anyone know where to get nice inking pens? I plan on buying some in the near future. So any information is useful. ;D Just check a local art supply store, Micheal's was a good place the last time I was there. Microns are a great pen, they don't splatter or leak, although they will eat the paper if you leave them there for a long time. lol. They come out smooth and they have a wide variety of tips. Actually, most Xerox machines do now too. Evil. Oh, well that's good and bad to know. It's good because I thought it was just my scanner that had issues. It's bad because....well that sucks. lol.

Hey Tom! What brand of inking pens do you use? I am looking at a wide assortment right now. There are so many it's hard to tell which is a good one. By the way what is the price range for them?

I was just being sarcastic anyways. lol. You can get weird lines with Calligraphy pens, but as far as I can think back, Microns were the best/most used pens.
