Isn't anyone else a little wierded out about how old Euchre is?
Or for that matter, how much older in human years Flora is than Trace?

No, not really. Frankly because Keidran years are so much shorter than Human years it is hard to relate them with the way we think of people's ages having to do with their maturity / attitudes etc. While physically she may be human 30 or some such, im sure she is of the human mental age similar to Trace's.
Becasue the species are so different It is very difficult to determine what actual mental age would be, because it means different things in the different cultures. You are reading too much into physical development.

The bios now give Trace's age as well, he's 26.
I must say, Flora and Trace ended up being a lot older than I thought. I wouldn't have pegged Trace a day over 20. This may have to do with the inherit cuteness in Tom's style, who knows.
The way keidran age works seemed kinda strange to me. I would have guessed it'd be a cubic, starting fast and then slowing down for quite a while, then speeding up again towards the end of their life (sort of like how cats and dogs seem to age).
Flora's best years are slipping away. Trace had better stop wasting time.

The only thing about it I dont like is the fact that I have to fire up IE to use the converter since it dont like Firefox  witch is the browser that I use. And if yall want to know I am 9.83 in Keidran years. Yey, someone who's older than me lol. Granted I'm pretty sure there's a few more, just not everyone replied on this thread. |

Like i said, i had been given 3 key ages by tom, and with that i started work on an equasion... i plotted those points on a graph and was able to figure out what i had to start out with (it had to start with a slight incline and accelerated from there, so i think i started with y=x+x^2) from there i just tweeked the formula bit by bit until it got as close to the guidlines as possible. That took about 5-10 minutes... the finished product was a human to keidran formula, but i was faced with a quadratic formula, and wanted to change it to go the other way (keidran to human) which involved using the quadratic formula... it took longer, but actually was kind of fun for me because i enjoy tedious/hard math problems...
So there you have it, thats basically all it took, the javascript was a piece of cake once i found out how to get input from text fields...

a nice idea, but i do have to cringe at the idea you calling of a quadratic form 'simple exponential algebra'...
since i have nothing better to do, the same thing using actual exponential algebra:
h = 45 * ( exp( 0.043 * k ) - 1 )
k = 23.24 * ln( h / 45 + 1 )
(h = age in human years, k = age in keidran years)
the difference between the two is pretty negligable for the kind of values being put in but hey, what does a 7.5 year old like me know about it lol
