It has no story- its updated at strange times - not even every week - it is not colored and the guy cant even type in a date correctly -- he thinks its still 1982 or something -- maybe 2082... His comic is not worth reading because its a disapointment both in number of comics and artistic talent. Anyone can see that coloring that comic would be few clicks and some shading and highlights -- its not hard when the lines are so simple and crisp. So why doesnt he color it? Does he lack the ability or does he really care about the comic? I was worried that If i started coloring it my school work would suffer - but i went to grey scale shading and then to full color and im still putting out 3 comics a week -- even with my crummy art skills -- Tom has been coloring his comics for a long time now -- and his line art and story are wonderful. Long story short (to late) - Anime Arcadia is no good and is not worthy of its place next to Twokinds...  |

Sage, you're right.
This is absurd. It doesn't belong next to Twokinds!
It's not colored. He updates it once a day for 4 comics, and hasn't updated it in 10 days! It isn't colored. The lines are simple. It would be one thing if he shaded it with black and white and grey... but come on! I'm a horrible artist ((I mean absolutely horrid. Unless I'm in 3D Max. w00t.)) and even I shade with pencil.

I honestly find that the art is good, the lineart is crisp, and he/she has a nice hold on his personal style, sure it's not shaded or anything but that's probably the style he/she is going for.
Maybe the story isn't that great or in depth as Twokinds, but it has it's funny parts.
Heh, though I wonder why doesn't he/she have a forum.
It deserves to be in the top 10, I've seen much worst being up there.

Yall can ignore most of what i said -- i was upset because i got an e-mail from some guy claiming i was copying A.A. So i went off on a rant about it. And it was just a chance for me to complain about every little thing...
But i still want to know why the dates are so screwed up... and why he doesn't color it! Oh well im going to keep checking his anyways now... I'd really like to know when he started it though.

Good or bad, its what makes life interesting. Can you imagine if no-one cared enough about anything to even go as far as you do.
Not as if I am not saying apologize, as he who you may have offended is also human, and may, in anger, foolishly shun this place.

He started about 20 weeks ago. at least I stombeld acros it around that time and then he onley had 2 comics. But I'm not shure. |
