I was thinking about how many people here like to make art of any kind, or write.
I like to write and draw, and I've been told that my writing's pretty good.
Tell me if you like to make art, and if so, what you do.

I can be an okay artist however my art really varies in quality as I have a tendency to be able to set a time limit and the time limit defines how good the art is, short time limits mean bad proportions and perspective and usually no or simplistic backgrounds. Long time limits can bring some really good stuff. (Allthough I am not as good as the artist of twokinds) I usually am unreliable in fishishing and putting on the computer all of my best works though ususally all that is on the computer was made on the computer and often rather quickly. I do have some nice Photoshop and Illistrator skill though. ;D My english teachers and parents have allways liked my writing and found it entertaining, unique and to have a good vocabulary (I read allot). The biggest complaints I get about my handwriting are run on scentences and lack of splitting my writing into paragraphs apropriatly. I can also tend to write a little too much. I usually write fantasy or super hero stuff, or some comedy, especially comedy about mathematics and english grammar. I usually draw in an anime/manga inspired style and like to make goofy, nice people as characters. I like to also draw characters I and others play in RPGs as I am a devoted Dungeon & Dragons (and others like BESM) player. I also like to draw my favorite anime/manga characters and draw people I know anime style.

I like to write and have so far only written one storyline for one comic, which would run a few pages. I am working on both parts.

I'd write...but my mind wanders too easy. I do draw however...been doing that for nearly 12 years. I'm into concept art, in fact that will most likely be my profession once I get my demo reel finished and out into the industry. But really I just like drawing in general. None of my drawings really seem to get a background though...and I tend to only draw a character once, which puts comics out of the question. I do 3D Modeling, and Animation as well, but I'm not sure you'd consider that art.

Interesting Fox. What else do you plan on doing? Everyone care to respond to this question to? Well, I hope to be a scientist (field unknown) and draw as a side hobbie.

Augh, I'd love a tablet. PS'ing lines and what not on a mouse is evil. On a TRACKBALL no less. lol. I only have a few of my drawings actually cleaned up, the rest is just whatever they scanned as. As to what I plan to do in the future, character design/concept art. Seeing as most companies would like you to have a competent grasp on using a 3D program I'll most likely be doing that also. So overall, I see myself working for a game company, designing and then creating my characters, creatures, vehicles, weaponry and other such models for whatever game I happen to be working on. As of current, I can use Maya, probably 3DS Max, though I've not really looked into it, Photoshop, some of Premiere, and Shake. Shake is a great compositing program, but seeing as I'm looking into games, and not movies, I doubt I'll be using it much.

Dunno - digital pen alone might be good. It's what I'm getting, since all the tablets have Windows XP built in for the pen and voice recognition. (I hate XP)
